MX missile has been performing progressive instrumental dance music across Canada, and local Calgary venues since mid 2006. MX Missile’s songs are all written, recorded and produced by the band. With very diverse influences, rock fusion and world beat is probably the best way to describe our choice of genres.

MX missile released a live recording of a Calgary show in early 2008 titled “Live at the Stetson”. This reached the top 20 releases that month at CJSW radio station in Calgary. The band spent the next few years gigging around western Canada and recording their self titled debut album. It was released in early 2012. The album is an eclectic mix of traditional instrumental genres mixed with electronic influences.

Current Activities: After a mini tour west coast of BC, Canada in August 2018, we recordorded a new album and plans are underway to release it very soon!
